Five Hair Trends For Fall 2019
Fashion is a changeable and fey creature, always keeping us on our toes with what's in and what's not. With such wonderful looks out there, it can be hard to sort through it all - so we’ve put together a list of five of our favorite on-trend hair looks for Fall 2019. Explore them below, then find your inspiration and strut the streets like they’re your personal catwalk.
Fall 2019 Hair Trends
Center Part
If you paid close attention to New York Fashion Week, you may have noticed the growing center part trend. People have been gravitating toward this style, skillfully using their fingers to pick out their center part, and then largely slicking their hair down in a symmetrical presentation. If your face lends itself well to this look, go for it! This rainbow hairstyle by @nanameuw is a great example of parting in the center and letting the hair fall evenly on both sides. But if you worry it’s too much for you to pull off, no worries - move on to one of these next looks.
Low Ponytail
Another prevalent trend that emerged from the catwalks during NYFW is the low ponytail - a relaxing treat for your scalp as we bid adieu to tight and high ponytails. This low hanging ponytail by @theconfessionsofahairstylist is brought up a notch with her detailed braiding work. For a easier look, don’t be afraid to gracefully gather your hair at the nape of your neck with a simple hair tie, and include a side part for a sleek evening look.
Soft Waves
Soft waves are also a vital trend this fall, especially if you’re Taylor Swift or going for a romantic feel. Use our titanium flat iron to create these loose waves, and try draping them with a side part for a glam infusion. Keep them touchably soft by regularly treating your hair to a deep conditioning mask. We especially love this fiery mermaid waved makeover by @willow.grace.hair, we just want to touch it!
Go Platinum
Platinum blonde hair is hot right now, especially if you lean toward icy tones. This is also a perfect shade to enjoy throughout the autumn and to welcome winter in! This color tends to look best with short hairstyles, and you’ll need to give your hair frequent TLC if acquiring this look means a lot of bleaching for your tresses. The talented @presleypoe knows her way around platinum hair, as is evident in this gorgeous silver asymmetrical hairstyle.
Lilac Locks
Lilac hair is also on trend (along with some other pastels) - we’ve seen it popping up on our Instagram feeds as summer has been wending to a close. If it's cool enough for Megan Rapinoe, it's cool enough for us! From silvery-toned lilac to a bolder Easter egg shade, there’s a lilac out there that will work for you - if you’re game enough to try. @glam.by.heather shows us how it's done with this gorgeous pastel lilac transformation; it makes us want to change out hair color this instant!
